RIO 4’6 Bed Frame Assembly Guide

Congratulations on your new bed! Follow these step-by-step instructions carefully to assemble your RIO 4’6 bed frame safely and securely.

Important Safety Information:

• Do not jump on the bed frame.

• Do not use the bed frame if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.

• Do not use the bed frame unless all fixings are secured.

• Keep small parts out of reach of children.

• Always assemble on a level, even surface.

• WARNING: If the bed is placed on a non-carpeted floor, place protection under all legs to prevent movement and potential collapse.

Care & Maintenance:

• Assemble the bed in the room where it will be used.

• Periodically check and tighten all screws and fixings.

• Never push the bed frame—always lift with two people to reposition.

• Keep sharp objects away from the frame.

Parts List:

Note: You will need a screwdriver, M11 spanner, and a small mallet (not provided).

Assembly Steps:

Step 1:

• Attach the support legs (7) to the centre rail (6) using hardware parts G and M.

• Insert hardware part B into the side rails (4) using a small mallet.

Step 2:

• Insert hardware part A into the headend panel (1) and footend panel (8) using a small mallet.

Step 3:

• Attach the left headend post (2) and right headend post (3) to the headend panel (1) using hardware parts H and M.

Step 4:

• Attach the left footend post (9) and right footend post (10) to the footend panel (8) using hardware parts H and M.

Step 5:

• Fix the metal bracket (L) to the headend panel (1) and footend panel (8) using hardware part C and a screwdriver.

Step 6:

• Attach the side rails (4) to the headend posts using hardware parts J, K, and M.

• Fix the centre rail (6) using hardware parts E and F with an M11 spanner.

Step 7:

• Attach the footend posts to the side rails using hardware parts J, K, and M.

• Secure the centre rail (6) in place using hardware parts E and F with an M11 spanner.

Step 8:

• Secure the slats (5) to the side rails (4) and centre rail (6) using hardware parts N and D with a screwdriver.

• Start at the ends and work towards the middle for even spacing.

Once all parts are in place, fully tighten all fixings to ensure a stable and secure bed frame.
