Bed Frame Assembly Overview
Congratulations on your new bed! Please follow these important steps to ensure safe and proper assembly:
Getting Started:
The bed frame is packed in 2 cartons (KD style) for easy handling.
Check all parts and tools listed on page 2 before you begin.
Always assemble on a level, even surface.
Avoid using power tools, as they may damage the frame.
Secure all bolts and parts loosely at first, then tighten them fully only once the frame is complete.
Safety and Care Tips:
Always lift the bed with two people for repositioning.
Keep small parts away from children.
Stop using the bed frame if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.
Periodically check and tighten all screws and fixings.
Keep the bed away from direct sunlight.
Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
WARNING: For non-carpeted floors, use feet pads under all legs to prevent movement and potential collapse.
Key Assembly Steps:
Attach the wooden legs to the bottom of the side rails using the provided bolts.
Position the side rails with the underside board, securing with small corner brackets and bolts. Attach the corner brackets to the footboard.
Loosely insert bolts into the headboard and align the side rails with the hinges on the headboard (do not force them).
Attach the central support bar to the underside board and footboard, then insert the support legs using bolts, nuts, and washers.
Slot the slats into the end slat caps and central slat caps, then attach them to the side rails and central support bar. Press them firmly into place.
Finally, fully tighten all bolts and ensure all parts are secure. Assembly is now complete!
