How to Assemble Your New Bed Frame: A Quick Guide
Congratulations on your new bed frame! Please read the following instructions carefully before assembling.
Important Assembly Instructions
The bed frame is shipped in 3 cartons in a KD (knock-down) style.
Check that you have all the parts and tools listed on page 2 before you begin.
Assemble the frame on a level, even surface to ensure stability.
Avoid using power tools—they could damage the frame.
Secure bolts loosely at first and tighten fully only after completing assembly.
Safety and Care Tips
Always lift the bed frame with two people to avoid injury or damage.
Keep small parts away from children for safety.
Stop using the bed frame if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.
Periodically check all screws and fixings to ensure the frame is secure.
Keep the bed away from direct sunlight.
For maintenance, clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
WARNING:
If placing the bed on a non-carpeted floor, use feet pads under all legs to prevent movement. Failure to do so may result in the bed frame collapsing.
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Remove the fittings box from the back of the headboard (marked with a label) by gently pulling off the magic tape, then re-stick the tape.
Step 2: Attach the side rails to the headboard using big corner brackets and bolts A. Then attach the side rails to the footboard using corner brackets and bolts A.
Step 3: Attach the central support bar to the headboard and footboard using bolts A. Insert the support legs into the holes in the central support bar using bolts B, nuts C, and washers D.
Step 4: Slot the slats into the end slat caps and central slat caps as shown. Attach the slats to the side rails and central support bar, then press firmly into place. After checking all parts are correctly positioned, fully tighten all bolts.
